My online supported cleanse is inspired by Dr. Alejandro Junger’s world-renowned “Clean Cleanse,” an anti-inflammatory, elimination diet.
The cleanse is three weeks of clean and intentional eating from a list of whole foods known to be beneficial for body and mind. The main foods we remove from our diets during the cleanse are gluten, dairy, processed sugar, coffee and alcohol. We shift the focus to eating good quality meats, fish, fruit, rice, beans, legumes, vegetables, nuts and seeds, avocado and oils such as coconut and olive. Like anything that challenges our habits, a cleanse is easier when you have the support of others. When you sign up for my online supported cleanse, I will add you to a private Facebook group, where you can ask unlimited questions, get to know other people who are also working to improve their health, and be supported by me and by others in your group. I will answer questions daily and post recipes and articles that I feel are helpful.
Here’s what I love about this cleanse:
- You can remain athletic, work a full-time job and be a great parent during the three weeks.
- It’s affordable; eating clean does not have to be expensive.
During a cleanse many people report:
- Increased energy, usually in the first week.
- Better digestion including less bloating.
- Better sleep.

- Less physical pain due to the anti-inflammatory nature of the food.
- Increase in happiness.
- And while this is not a cleanse designed for weight loss, many participants do lose some unwanted weight.
The cost to participate is $35. I recommend you begin looking at the Clean manual — or Dr. Junger’s book — before starting. These will answer many questions and give you a good understanding of how the cleanse works. Please note that buying the Clean shakes and supplements is completely optional.
