My online supported reset is inspired by Dr. Alejandro Junger’s world-renowned “Clean Cleanse,” an anti-inflammatory, elimination diet. The reset is three weeks of clean and intentional eating from a list of whole foods known to be beneficial for body and mind. The main foods we remove from our diets during the cleanse are gluten, dairy, processed sugar, coffee and alcohol. We shift the focus to eating good quality meats, fish, fruit, rice, beans, legumes, vegetables, nuts and seeds, avocado and oils such as coconut and olive. (Here is a one-page printable list of what we eat and avoid during a cleanse.) Like anything that challenges our habits, a reset is easier when you have the support of others.
When you sign up for my online supported reset, I will add you to a private Facebook group, where you can ask unlimited questions, get to know other people who are also working to improve their health, and be supported by me and by others in your group. I will answer questions daily and post recipes and articles that I feel are helpful. Please note: because of its structure, participants will use Facebook (FB) to take part in this reset. Alternatively, my “5-Day Reset” can be done on its own, without the need for FB interaction.

For weeks 2 and 3 you will begin to plan your own food, but don’t worry, I will still post recipes and the group will have great ideas and be there for you if you ever feel at a loss. The basic cleanse structure is a smoothie in the morning, a nice big lunch and a soup or lighter meal in the evening. Healthy snacks are encouraged. This reset is not a calorie-restrictive plan. It’s simply a highly nourishing and very intentional structure for eating that limits potentially inflammatory items for 3 weeks and replaces them with nutrient-dense and healing foods. In fact, many people realize it’s as much a lifestyle as it is a “reset,” finding that when the 3 weeks are over, they possess the beginnings of new healthy habits, rather than memories of a diet.
